I am an Iowa Citian living and studying in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. I'm keeping this blog to record and reflect on my experiences. Through it, I hope to paint a picture of Brazil beyond what we Gringos see in pictures meant for postcards.

I'm back from Brazil! And though I miss it a lot, I'm excited to be a graduate student at the University of Iowa's School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
